  • Donna King

    Who am I?

    I joined the church with my husband Stuart in 1992 and I am one of the Directors of the church with oversight of the pastoral area of church life and the Transformation Centre at Eastgate.

    What’s my passion?

    My passion is to facilitate growing powerful people, who are connected with the Godhead, take responsibility for their own walk with God, are unafraid to take risks for the Kingdom, have the confidence to dream big and proactively go for those dreams.

    What do I love?

    God, family, people, Cornwall and books!

    One interesting fact about me.

    I lived in The USA for three years and once met Ronald Reagan at the White House.

  • Alan Cass

    Who am I?

    I joined the evening school of supernatural ministry in 2010 and realised that I had found what I was looking for! I joined Eastgate in 2013.

    What’s my passion?

    I have a passion to see individuals and churches find their true identity in God and be instrumental in transforming communities and the nation by the Kingdom of God.

    What do I love?

    I love my family including my four grandchildren. I love my allotment and to see things growing. I love fathering in all its forms; both physically with my immediate family and spiritually around the world.

    One interesting fact about me?

    When I was much younger, I sang in a choir in Canterbury Cathedral. Don’t ask me to sing now though!

  • Steph Cox

    Who am I?

    I am Steph, I joined Eastgate about 5 years ago after completing 3 years of ESSL. I am currently employed by Eastgate as the Head of Children’s ministry. Previous to this I lived and worked in Peckham South London.

    What’s my passion?

    I am a revivalist! God has given me a life dream to train and equip people (especially children) to release the Kingdom of God wherever they are, and see whole communities saved, healed and delivered. I love to see people living in their true identity.

    What do I love?

    Jesus, being with people, drinking coffee and eating cake.

    One interesting fact about me?

    I spent a year living in Uganda when I was 18 which changed my life in many ways.

  • Helen Watling

    Who am I?

    I joined with my husband in 1990. I have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. I am a retired teacher, who later specialised in helping Dyslexic children. I have been a counsellor and befriender at the Ellenor Hospice and, at Eastgate, I have been a children’s worker, House Group leader, a member of the Sozo team and a student at ESSL.

    What’s my passion?

    To share my love of Jesus with everyone, whilst growing in faith myself. This led to me visiting the Ukraine with ‘Hope Now’ each year for 8 years, helping and teaching the many widows and disadvantaged people there Now I love to pray with the Prayer and Healing ministry teams.

    What do I love?

    My family and grandchildren, hospitality and cooking, flower-arranging, country dancing and table tennis, music and holidays!

    One interesting fact about me?

    I have a dark-haired, twin sister.

    Who am I?

    I have volunteered for 3 years as a hospital chaplain and have been a member of the Healing Centre at Eastgate.

    What’s my passion?

    I love to hear people’s stories and am passionate in seeing everyone find more freedom and become the best they can be.

    What do I love?

    I love Jesus and like walking, learning new languages and cooking.

    One interesting fact about me?

    I home-schooled my children.

  • David Whittington

    Who am I?

    I joined Eastgate in 2017. I am a semi-retired GP working at the Royal London Hospital in Community Emergency Medicine.

    What’s my passion?

    I like to be real with people and to invite others to be the same.

    What do I love?

    Well, family is awesome – hot tub, sauna, coffee and wine are great. My best friend is Jesus.

    One interesting fact about me?

    I once worked as an undertaker.

  • Lesley Vinall

    Who am I?

    I have been a part of Eastgate for over 20 years and my roles have included leading the stewarding team and being involved in pastoral initiatives such as running the course ‘Restored Lives’. I’m a mother and grandmother and recently retired from working in a supportive role for Kent Libraries which involved registering births and deaths.

    What’s my passion?

    I am passionate about seeing people connect with each other and discovering their God-given identity.

    What do I love?

    I love spending time with friends, reading, exploring my family history and birdwatching!

    One interesting fact about me?

    I moved house 7 times in 7 years.
