Coronavirus update: Evening School sessions are currently taking place online and therefore taster sessions are currently unavailable. We hope to make applications for the 2020-21 year available towards the end of May 2020.
People come from all over the UK to be part of our evening school. It’s a great way to receive some of the teaching of our daytime school, discover your royal identity as a Son or Daughter of the King, grow in spiritual gifts and flow in the supernatural. If you are hungry to discover more of God, more of His power in your life and to be connected to like-minded people; this could be the place for you.
The evening school takes place on alternate Wednesday evenings, starting at 7.45pm and running to 10.00pm; as well as 3 ‘Saturday Specials’, starting at 10.00am and running to 5.00pm. The school year is based on 23 sessions in total, spread over 3 terms (September to July).
The evening is a mix of sharing ‘good news’, worship, teaching and activation/impartation.
Saturday Specials are designed to provide you with an opportunity to
- Have plenty of space to encounter God
- Build deeper relationships with fellow students
- Meet together with the wider school as Day School students join with us
- Go deeper into aspects of the curriculum and cover topics we do not have time to cover of an evening
Each evening and Saturday Special is served by a fantastic team. We have worship leaders and speakers from both in house and further afield, supported by a fantastic ministry team who are either graduates of the school or members of Eastgate. Our speaking team reflect and represent all of the Ephesians 4 fivefold gifts. So whatever your gift mix, there will be something to equip you and build you up for every aspect of life.
Each student is responsible for their own transport and, if necessary, accommodation. We realise that this can be an issue for some students but as the school has grown in size it has become impractical for us to arrange transport and accommodation for our students. However, we have built a vibrant student community to facilitate mutual help and support.
All of the course content is centred around the following markers
- Identity in Christ
- Intimacy with the Father
- Impact through the Holy Spirit
- Instilling Kingdom Culture
The School aims to equip you to
- Encounter the presence of God
- Hear God and prophesy
- Heal the sick
- Experience the miraculous beyond the walls of the church
- Walk in the blessings and power of the Culture of Honour
Where practical, notes are provided electronically for students’ own records. There is no reading requirement nor written assignments for the Evening School. However, we do issue students with a recommended reading list so they can gain a deeper understanding of the material we are teaching. Key texts will be available at School on a regular basis. A wider range of reading material is also available at our ‘Saturday Specials’ and at our conference book stall.
You are welcome to attend as a visitor for one session to help you decide whether Evening School is for you. We currently charge £10 for a taster session.
It is possible to join the Evening School after its September start if you’re prepared to catch up on the teaching you’ve missed. However, the teaching builds session by session and there comes a point where we think it’s not practical to catch up. The cut-off point is before half-term towards the end of October, after that point we ask you to defer until the start of the next course.
