The Group and Contact Person named above shall be responsible for any damage to the building and its contents, fixtures and fittings.
Payment to be made no less than 1 week in advance of event.
Our cancellation policy is: 5+ working * days’ notice required for a full refund/no charge. 3-4 working days’ notice will incur a 50% charge. Less than 3 working days’ notice will incur the full cost. * working days are Mon-Fri.
For non-business bookings, rooms will only be opened up for the named hirer, unless we have approved a different arrangement in advance.
Eastgate does not accept any liability in the event of an accident and/or injury in or around the building, nor for any loss of property or personal effects.
The rooms must be left clean and tidy after use. We reserve the right to request a refundable damages and cleaning deposit which will be agreed at the time of booking.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring guests park in marked bays only in front of our building or our car park on Springhead Parkway. For directions pleasedownload the mapor use the what3words///spice.scar.encounterPlease don’t use the primary school car park.
The hirer can put one sack of rubbish in our wheelie bin on the right side of the building. Further sacks and glass bottles need to be taken away and disposed of by the hirer.
The hirers are responsible for their own Liability insurance.
Hirers may not use any cooking or heating equipment in the building without express permission.
Business hirers will have access to their room 30 minutes before and after to setup and pack away free of charge.
In the event of the alarm sounding the hirer is responsible for ensuring that everyone who is part of their booking leaves the building by the nearest fire exit door and goes to the assembly point in Penn Park – turn right as you exit the building, and the park is on the right further down Springhead Parkway. If possible, the hirer should then report to the caretaker/person in charge, who will be in the entrance area, that all of their party are clear of the building.
Live animals are prohibited with the exception of guide dogs or prior agreement with Eastgate.
Smoking is not permitted in the building and grounds.
Free Wi-Fi is provided in the building but we cannot guarantee the availability, speed or compatibility of the service. Our security measures block access to certain internet services and therefore we cannot guarantee access to all online services. If your booking has specific internet requirements, please talk to us before booking. Eastgate cannot accept responsibility for any issues you may encounter as a result of using our Wi-Fi.
