Youth

Our Youth community is a vibrant and faithful group of incredible young people who believe that with God, anything is possible. Our youth groups meet every Sunday morning from 10am and the second Friday of every month for a social evening from 7.30pm!  It’s a great way to connect, have fun and learn more about God’s will for your life. Anyone of secondary school age is welcome.

Autumn Teaching Plan

This Autumn we are introducing the Empowered Discipleship course in Eastgate Youth!

This 9 week teaching series introduces our world changing teenagers to one aspect of Jesus character each week and one powerful discipleship tool we can use to protect the peace that Jesus gives us and bring his Kingdom here on earth.

Youth Furnace

We’re also launching our midweek furnaces for youth too

Every Wednesday evening in term time we host furnace sessions for our youth which are places for the church family to gather, connect with Jesus and grow together as a community in the middle of the week.

4.30-5.15 – Chill Out Zone: An afterschool space to play table tennis or pool, catch up with friends and breathe

5.15-6.30 – Journaling with Jesus: A quiet space to journal, pray, sit and soak with God or get creative

6.30pm onwards – youth can then join with the rest of the church to eat and worship in the cafe before adults go off into their midweek furnace groups at 8.30pm

Bible in a year Challenge

Want to challenge yourself to read the bible in one year? Starting this November our youth are biting into the delicious word of God by taking the Bible in a year Challenge!

We’re following the plan set out in the One Year Bible App under the ‘Old & New Testament’ plan if you want to use the app and we’ve also created these handy printable tick charts so you can track your progress each day too!

Click Here to download the chart for November & December and let the youth team know if you’ve decided to take the challenge along with us!
